Google Doodle Marks The Beginning Of Commonwealth Games 2018 In Gold Coast

The Commonwealth Games are honored by GOOGLE DOODLE,the latest world events.

Athletes from 71 Nations are going to join the Games. These Athletes will compete in 18 games such as swimming, basketball, cycling, boxing and much more. 

The OPENING CEREMONY was the held on 4th April and games were started of the following Day.

While the nature of the Games is competitive, the sole aim is to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship. Since 1930, the CWG has taken place every four years, excluding 1942 and 1946, and have grown in teams, athletes, events, and traditions.

As per Google Doodle, it’s just been three months and the year 2018 has already started setting records. 2018 features the largest integrated program of events and para-events. Also, for the first time, women will compete for the same number of medals as men.
